What Black History Means to Me!
Black History Month is here and it is a reminder to me of the emancipation of someone like me not only to dream, but to live the dream, that “Dream” that Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of during the march on Washington, as he delivered a dissertation of awakening on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
It propels me to seek knowledge, and to be intentional in an effort to be one step ahead of others in character and integrity. I am reminded that I can leave a legacy for my children, one that will steer them to greatness.
My dream is not only to be alive, but to live an amazing healthy fulfilled life, to experience all the wealth and the blessings that God has created for us as humans to enjoy on this earth.
